Elisha Reverby is a pioneer in natural beauty whose work has always lived ahead of the industry curve. At just 21, while living in New York City, she began formulating natural skincare—long before “clean beauty” existed as a category. Mentored by esteemed chemists and researchers from the Society of Cosmetic Chemists and Essex Testing Labs, Elisha learned formulation from the inside out, developing products from scratch at a time when natural preservation and performance were considered nearly impossible.

A private chef, Elisha’s approach to beauty was Deeply influenced early on by her mother’s belief in food as medicine, and later by the cuisine of Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Elisha developed an ethos very early that was shaped by technique, quality, minimalism and balance, while always respecting the power and intelligence of natural ingredients. While building her early formulations, she supported herself through her own catering company, cooking for clients including Tommy Hilfiger, Warner Brothers, and Geffen Films. After five years of building her catering business, Elisha made the decisive choice to walk away and pursue her original dream of creating natural skincare.

In 2002 Elisha relocated to Los Angeles, and within five years founded Get Waxed in Venice Beach, located just off Abbot Kinney that helped redefine standards of care, ethics, and expertise in the waxing space. Within its first year, it was named Best Of by Allure and LA Weekly, and was featured in Vogue and the Los Angeles Times. Her work soon expanded into Elique Organics, where her post-wax products, honey-based creams, plant waters, and ritual formulas gained recognition for their integrity, sensorial beauty, and uncompromising performance. Her products have been featured in leading publications and selected for exclusive collections at destinations such as ABC Home and the Crosby Street Hotel.

At the core of Elisha’s work is a belief that beauty is always inherent. Through skilled touch, intelligent formulation, and practices that honor the whole person, she continues to offer a return to everlasting beauty that is grounded, restorative, and deeply human.

In her free time, you’ll find Elisha reading her poetry at open mics, doing stand-up comedy, cuddling her dog Noodle, or settling in with a great whodunit. She’s also currently back in school, working toward her bachelor’s degree—always a student, always evolving.
